Rabbi Marc Schneier in Conversation with Derrick Johnson on Black-Jewish Relations #WeAreDoneDying

The Foundation for Ethnic Understanding (FFEU) was founded in 1989 by Rabbi Marc Schneier and the legendary Broadway impresario, the late Joseph Papp, while tensions were increasing between the Black and Jewish Communities. For over two decades, Rabbi Schneier has worked with our nation’s most prominent civil rights leaders to repair this historic alliance.

Consequently, FFEU was honored by the United States Congress as the national address for Black-Jewish relations.

At this critical time in America, as we address shortcomings in social justice, FFEU is privileged to present to you our latest series “The Role of the Jewish Community in Combating Racial Injustice and Racial Inequality.”

FFEU is grateful to the NAACP, The National Action Network, Rainbow PUSH Coalition, SCLC Southern Christian Leadership Conference, The National Urban League for their ongoing partnership that made the series possible.
